Hoeveel opslagruimte heb ik echt nodig?

Dat hangt af van hoe jij je MacBook gebruikt:

256GB: Voldoende voor gebruikers die vooral in de cloud werken (Google Drive, iCloud).
512GB: geschikt voor mensen die regelmatig bestanden lokaal bewaren (zoals foto’s, projecten, media).
1 TB of meer: Aan te raden als je met grote bestanden werkt, zoals videoprojecten of zware software.

Pro tip: Gebruik je externe schijven of cloudopslag? Dan kun je eventueel besparen op interne opslag.

Waarom heeft de MacBook Air geen ventilator?

Is dat slecht? Nee, zeker niet. De MacBook Air met M1 of M2 is zo energie-efficiënt dat hij prima functioneert zonder ventilator. Daardoor is hij muisstil.

Alleen bij langdurige, zware belasting (zoals het exporteren van grote video’s) kan hij tijdelijk wat trager worden vanwege warmtebeperking (thermal throttling).

Voor gemiddeld dagelijks gebruik zul je hier niets van merken.
